It is so sad to see peoples' loving pets being advertised for free because their owners' lifestyles changed and they can no longer love them.
Check out some soon to be unloved animals here:

A blog for dogs who take their owners on daily WALKIES.
I, Onesock Dog, was born in a Cape Town squatter-camp.
My first daddy put me in a P&P plastic bag and tried to sell me, at the traffic lights on Blaauwberg rd., for booze money.
BAT (The Blaauwberg Animal Trust) and My New Daddy saved on me on New Year’s Eve 2005.
Thanks Daddy for not letting me become a Pit-bull- practice has-been.

Dunoon three day animal sterilization clinic
African Tails just completed a three day sterilization operation at Du Noon
In their newsletter they wish to thank Dr. Yvonne Robson from Sunnydale Animal Hospital,
Dr. Reena Cotton from Citi Vet, Dr. Duncan Siegfried and Dr. Susan Van Niekerk.
Please support their practices.
They also thank the Blaauwberg Animal Trust, Animal Rescue Organization and African Tails for generous donors and selfless volunteers.
They managed to sterilize over 110 dogs and several cats over a period of three days.
Here is a link to their website about saving our street dogs.
Smokie asked me to put their link on our blog.
Here it is.

Lost dog 10-09-2009
This is a reply from an the advert relating to Harry's "found dog" which was being advertised at Gumtree.
From: jennifer_kleber@yahoo.com !!! SIMBA STOLEN !!!! HAVE YOU SEEN HIM?
This dear boy was stolen off a farm in Klapmuts (next to the N1) on
Wednesday night, 26 August 2009. His collar and tag was removed
and we suspect he was taken when they stole the sheep. We are
hoping that he managed to escape and is trying to find his way
home.
He is 7 months old and answers to Simba and Munchkin. He is
Alsation X. Black with tan markings. He likes smiling. He has
medium length hair with long hair on his tail and his ears are very
fluffy and almost blond. He has light brown eyes-almost hazelnut.
Brown cheeks and eyes and black nose and forehead. He is knee
height.
Please if you see this boy or know anything, contact Soretha on
073 864 5270 or email caron.pets@gmail.com
immediately. We would love to reunite this
special dog with her family!
